Join SJCPLS and Parks & Rec for this fun outdoor art program for all ages! Each class will provide a unique opportunity to explore a new art medium or technique in our local parks and libraries.

Let your creativity take flight at the library as you paint an eclectic pink flamingo on a canvas banner. Guided step-by-step by Kasha, you’ll explore new techniques and develop your artistic skills in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Join the women of Dress a Girl to learn to make dresses and now shorts! You can pick up a kit to create at home or turn in dresses you created to the Bartram Trail Branch. We also accept fabric and notion donations.

Explore your creativity and join us for a full day of arts and crafts for all ages! Some of the events include bookmark and bracelet making, a popsicle stick tower competition, origami classes, and more!

Come learn how to harness the sun to cook or bake outside of current modern methods. 

This could be handy in the aftermath of the next big storm OR something fun to try with kids.

Maureen, a chef and caterer will teach children basic decorating skills in order to decorate their own cookies.  This is a very hands-on activity.

Patrons may only register for ONE workshop, either June or July. Please call 904-827-6950 to register.

The St. Johns County Public Library System bookmobile will be stopped at Shearwater Kayak Outpost. Pick up requested holds, apply for a library card, or browse the mobile collection!
