Teen Financial Literacy Workshop with Free Lunch

Teen Financial Literacy Workshop: Subjects covered include careers, spending, saving and investing, managing debt, protecting your assets, and more. 

Instructors are from the Jacksonville Chapter of the Florida Institute of Public Accountants. Free pizza lunch is provided by our Friends of the Library.

The Teen Financial Literacy Workshop will also be offered at

• June 21 at Southeast Branch Library
• June 28 at Main Branch Library
• July 19 at Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library

Important information to know when registering:

• Attendees must be between the ages of 15-20 to register.
• Parents must be easily accessible in the event of an emergency. When registering someone under the age of 18, please provide your (not your child's) phone number and email address to be able to contact you if needed.
• Program will be held in the meeting room near the front entrance. You will need to arrive on time to ensure your spot for the program when the building opens at 10am.
• Participants are welcome to bring their own water bottles, lunch boxes, snacks, etc.
• All participants will need to sign a food waiver to partake in any food or drinks in the meeting room not self-provided. Participants under 18 will need a parent to sign the food waiver on their behalf if not providing their own lunch, snacks, or drinks.
