 sk Force to host a Memory Cafe at the library!What is a Memory Café? A w
 elcoming social gathering where people experiencing cognitive challenges a
 nd the people who care about them come together for friendship, fun, and a
 cceptance. Who can attend? Both the person living with a cognitive decli
 ne, Alzheimer’s Disease, or related dementias, along with their primary 
 caregiver or a loved one. Together, they would attend as a pair. Cafés ar
 e not designed to offer drop-off respite care. They are designed to offer 
 support to both the person living with a cognitive decline or dementia, an
 d the ones who care for them and care about them. What happens there? At
  a memory café, we focus on bringing people together and meeting new frie
 nds through socializing, interaction, and activities. We do not focus on m
 edical conditions. Therefore, attendees choose how they wish to participat
 e and what they want to share with others.  Registration for this event 
 is required for all in attendance. We look forward to seeing you there!
