Program Description

Event Details

You just found an interesting local, historical topic that you want to investigate, but you’re not sure where you should start. Join the Main Branch Library’s Reference Librarian, Mandie, for an informative, hands-on workshop where she will guide you through valuable digital resources, such as ArchiveGrid, Florida Memory, and the Florida Newspaper Database. All of which are available via your St. Johns County Public Library card.

Whether you're a seasoned researcher or just starting, you'll learn how to uncover hidden gems from our region’s past, explore historical documents, photos, and newspapers, and gain insights into the rich history of Florida and St. Augustine. Bring your charged devices, your SJCPLS library card, and any passwords that you may need.

Registration is required. For further questions, please email Mandie at amarron@sjcfl.us .
