Step back to the early days of the United States with puppeteer and storyteller Katie Adams as she shares the heartwarming tale of Johnny Appleseed. Using charming puppets crafted like old-fashioned toys, a beautiful story quilt, and traditional music, Katie brings Johnny’s adventures to life. Each quilt square reveals a new chapter in the story of the gentle wanderer who followed his dreams and showed kindness to all living things. Kids will also receive a take-home coloring page to remember the story!
Bring along your summer reading log or pick one up at the circulation desk. Each program you attend counts as a day of reading. Earn free books by reading or attending library programs five days each week. No registration required, but space is limited.
