Dr. Darien Andreu on the Minorcans

Join us for a special 250th program featuring Dr. Darien Andreu. Dr. Andreu shares the history of the Mediterranean people that came to be known collectively as the Minorcans. We know the names, Pacetti, Sanchez, Rogero...now let us hear the story of how they came to New Smyrna, Florida from Europe, only to escape to St. Augustine a few years later. 

Dr. Darien Andreu retired from Flagler College this past year with thirty-eight years of teaching, mentoring, and sharing her passion for literature and history.
