Art Explorers - Fork Painting

Step into the swirling skies of Vincent Van Gogh. In this colorful, hands-on art program, kids will learn some basics about the life and techniques of one of history’s most iconic painters. We’ll explore the bold brushstrokes, bright colors, and emotional energy that made Van Gogh’s style unforgettable — then create our own masterpieces! Using thick paints and a technique called impasto, kids will paint with texture and movement — even dragging forks through the paint to mimic Van Gogh’s dramatic swirls.
